The title is a play on the song "Thanks for the Memory" by Bob Hope and Shirley Ross, previously referenced by Tanks for the Memories. In this episode, Pinkie Pie reminisces about her past moments of laughter while making the cakes for Twilight Sparkle's princess coronation.
