In order to achieve political stability, YINZHEN finally decides to marry LONGKODO's granddaughter and RUOBI as his concubines. On his wedding night, he goes to the Palace Larder to look for TIN-BO and he discovers TIN-BO drinking unhappily. RUOBI is married and TIN-BO cannot concentrate on his works anymore. TIN-BO learns that SIU-YU has gone to GENGYAO's place when he ran away with RUOBI and he suspects that SIU-YU has betrayed him. TIN-BO prepares dishes for YINZHEN as a way to show his love to RUOBI. MO-SUET greets YINZHEN's mother but she is being kicked away. TIN-BO finally realizes that SIU-YU did not betray him and he reconcile with her. TIN-BO visits MO-SUET and begs her to deliver a letter to RUOBI for him. LONGKODO reports to YINZHEN that GENGYAO is involved in corruption cases. YINZHEN meets up with GENGYAO. During the meeting, GENGYAO slaps TIN-BO on his face.
